TEXTS AND READINGS IN MATHEMATICS
TEXTS AND READINGS IN PHYSICAL SCIENCES

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that conform to the aims of the series. Very elementary texts are not published in the series. Nor are research monographs. Exceptions could be made but only if the contents are exceptionally interesting and serve to educate. All manuscripts are reviewed by referees and by editors. The standards are high. The series aims to provide an alternative to the cook-book approach adopted by a majority of India text books. Therefore, authors are encouraged to provide motivation, examples, several different proofs, challenging , applications, connections to other subjects and a historical perspective. Manuscripts may be sent to the Publisher, to the Managing Editor, or to any of the Editors. Authors should prepare the final version of the manuscripts using TeX or LaTeX.
